Little Beaver Learns That He Is Special Too!!
This book teaches children about friendship, kindness, peer pressure, special needs and having confidence. We're all different; the way we look, learn, think, and live, but we all want friends, especially when we're young. Should we just do the things that others are doing, even though there are things we are better at and enjoy more? Little Beaver learns how being different and unique is special. When he tries to play with the other young animals, he gets discouraged and thinks everyone is better than him. He is sad and wants to give up. They are fast, can jump high, and some can even fly. What can he do? Why does he have such big teeth and why is he so different? One day, danger comes to the woods and all the animals run in fear for their lives! Little Beaver learns a big lesson that day! He learns that he is different, but he has special things that he can do too! All the animals in the woods learn to be friends that day, appreciate their differences, watch out for each other, and have fun together! The books sends a message to: Be strong! Be confident! Be You!!
