This book is dedicated to Dana Van Burgh and the late Beecher Edmund "Ed" Strube, whose goal was to provide students a balance between classroom instruction and practical outdoor experience. Indeed, they brought science to life for countless students, teachers, and senior citizens in Natrona County, Wyoming, and beyond.
