Marie FrancoVenezuelan Plastic ArtistAlthough Franco is still young, that hasn't stopped her from painting her way into some of South Florida's most distinguished museums. As of 2020, she has exhibited original artwork at Wynwood's White Porch Gallery, the Orlando Museum of Art, White's ArtGallery in Miami and many other venues.Born in Venezuela, Franco has paved her way into the Miami art scene one museum at a time."I look for all the events that I do. I search for curators, I search for galleries," She says firmly. "I take time for that every single day."Her sharp gaze echoes her mature determination and professional attitude. Rather than waiting for opportunity to strike, Franco conjures it herself. Remarkably, Franco's style has already developed into something that is characteristically her own. Basquiatesque graffiti influences are prevalent throughout her works and accentuate the main subjects form portrait to portrait. Her process interestingly revolves around music and ambient sound. Pul-sating beats and rhythms bleed into her brushwork and translate into her visual field. However, Franco's success has not always come so easy. Marie Franco support a Venezuelan Foundation called: "Luchemos por La Vida" and all the profit from the sales of this book is going to help them. Broken
Broken
Broken doesn't mean destroyed. Broken does not mean God cannot use you. In fact, being broken is almost a pre-requisite for God to use you. All those things you have been through, the trauma that has harmed you, and the experiences you have lived through, are all preparing you to be the person that can help others through their fires. Does this mean that God wanted you to go through it? No! It means He walks with you through it all. In this devotional, I am your friend walking through my journey with you and prayerfully I am hoping what I have gone through will help you through your journey.

SM in Postmodern America
By recuperating a body of literature that has been overlooked in both literary studies and queer theory—the essays, pornography, educational texts, and memoir produced by and for queer SM practitioners from the 1960s through the late 1990s—and linking it to canonical representations of sadomasochism in postmodern fiction, this study initiates a new understanding of SM that emphasizes its queer potentiality and productive possibilities, as opposed to the disruptive and abstract qualities emphasized in previous scholarship. In doing so, SM in Postmodern America reimagines the significance of embodied erotic practice in literature, in queer theory, and in culture.

The Coliseum
The Coliseum
"We don't have to be enemies, Nadia. I enjoy your rebellion, so the more you rebel, the better the ratings of the show. We are a lot alike. Do you think you are greater than Eve? She fell, and you will too. You always do. Humans are all alike", he laughed as he speared me with his eyes. "I am greater than Eve. I have the blood of Jesus Christ running through my veins No, I won't fall to you. I will show you only REBELLION". Welcome to the Coliseum. What happens when the Rapture hasn't happened yet, but it is all you thought would happen? What happens when there is no back up plan? How do you survive? Adults to the front of the line to have their heads cut off if they refuse the State. They MUST take the Mark to buy or sell goods. But it changes you. Forever. But teenagers? Kids? Because the Mark must be voluntarily given or it won't take, if you say no to the Mark you are placed into a Coliseum. If that sounds familar, the Commander of the World borrowed the idea from Rome. Rome used to throw Christians to the lions. Now, they make us compete in a world wide reality show, the number one show in the world. You get to watch Christians fight others who won't take the mark, and it is a fight to the death. They are not allowed weapons. But if they don't comply, they are hunted. If they don't comply, they don't eat. That is, unless the people have you as a favorite. Things might be different then. The book revolves around the life of Nadia, a young girl who refuses to take the Mark of the Beast and whose parents gave her up to the State because they felt this would be a great re-education class. They were so beholden to the State that they believed they were doing their duty. Because of this, they could not understand why she did not just give in. Why not? It was a cozy life of ease if she did. But she believed in Jesus and knew that if she gave in before He came back, there was no redemption. What happens when Lucifer takes an active interest in Nadia? Will she and her friends ever escape, the Coliseum or will they win the ultimate survivor's prize: a chance to the take the Mark again? Read on to find out! Possible Triggers: Violence, Danger, Death, and possible eternal consequences.

French Immigrants and Pioneers in the Making of America
French Immigrants and Pioneers in the Making of America
Americans have long had a rich if complicated relationship with France. They adore all things French, especially food and fashion. They visit the country and learn the language. Historically, Americans have also been quick to blame France at certain times of international crisis, and find fault with their handling of domestic issues. Despite ups and downs, the friendship between the countries remains very strong. The author explains the strength of Franco-American relations lies in the diplomatic ties that extend back to the founding of the United States, but more importantly, in the French DNA that is imprinted on American culture. The French were the first Europeans to settle the regions now known as Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Missouri, Kansas and Arkansas--and Frenchman remained in Louisiana after the land was purchased by the United States. This book explores the effects that France has had on American culture, and why modern Americans of French descent are so fascinated by their ancestry.
