The Butterfly Effect, Memoir of an Art Studio documents the process of introducing a healing, creative, community-led space in the form of an art studio (Butterfly Studio at Christmas Hills) in the aftermath of the 2009 Black Saturday bushfires. It explores the origins of the studio through personal recollections by the artists involved in its creation. It captures the dreams and aspirations of studio members and, in the process, touches upon the insights that have invariably emerged from this work.

Second edition of a field guide to the flora and fauna of the Box-Ironbark forests of Central and North-east Victoria, first published 1994. Discusses damage done since the forests' initial Gold Rush devastation due to continual mining, grazing and logging. Outlines the region's ecological and natural history, the ecological communities currently in existence there and includes a pictorial field guide to the local flora. Also includes updated distribution maps to endangered species, map of proposed national parks being considered by parliament, index to plants, list of further references and full-colour photos. Authors are local scientists.
