The Butterfly Effect

The Butterfly Effect, Memoir of an Art Studio documents the process of introducing a healing, creative, community-led space in the form of an art studio (Butterfly Studio at Christmas Hills) in the aftermath of the 2009 Black Saturday bushfires. It explores the origins of the studio through personal recollections by the artists involved in its creation. It captures the dreams and aspirations of studio members and, in the process, touches upon the insights that have invariably emerged from this work.
