Published simultaneously as , volume 30, numbers 1/2 and 3/4 2000, this book examines the utility of the Internet as a scholarly research and reference tool. Each chapter provides a snapshot of Internet information access in a specific subject area, comparing it to traditional print media. Subject areas include social sciences, arts, natural sciences, business, engineering, history, law, literature, medicine, political science, and philosophy.
