Led, Not Driven
After a busy year that looked successful on paper, I felt a weariness in my soul that forced me to confront the lie I was believing: God's plan is too slow, so we'll go with mine instead. Instead of trusting the Creator of the Universe to lead me, I set my own pace and took the lead depending on my limited knowledge, cloudy judgment and sometimes self-focused ambition. Shocker. It didn't go well. In the fall of 2017, I wised up (that can happen when you hit rock bottom) and committed to living led, not driven. But I had a lot of lies to rewrite and a lot of truth to reclaim. This book is a peek into my diary as I detoxed from the fast lane and learned how to walk with Jesus has His pace instead of trying to demand my own.You can expect:- Short entries with a focus on processing the information. - Daily examples of what it looks like to slow down in practical ways. - Thought-provoking observations and questions to consider as you read.
