Collected Papers of Stig Kanger with Essays on his Life and Work Volume II
Kanger (1924-88) made important contributions to logic and formal philosophy, insisting that philosophical problems could be clarified and sometimes even solved, by means of exact logical and mathematical methods. He spent the final 20 years of his career at Uppsala University, Finland. The first of the two- volume collection contains his papers on pure logic; applied logic: obligations, rights, action, preferences, and choice; and the philosophy of science.
