Kate Spencer is a young and innocent governess in search of matrimony. Seemingly, she has landed the perfect job for a young spinster, though she soon discovers that appearances can be deceptive. Kate ends up caught in a fast and tightening net of sexual exploitation and physical humiliation at the hands of her supposedly respectable, yet ruthless employers.
