Pete Morisi --- aka PAM (1928-2003) was a successful comic artist for parts of seven decades, working in literally every comic genre in existence. He flew under the radar in many ways, intentionally, because he was also a New York City police officer for over 20 years; and moonlighting, even as an illustrator, was not acceptable, which is where the pseudonym PAM arose. Morisi, also an accomplished writer, is best known for creating the Charlton hero Peter Cannon - Thunderbolt.
