The Complete Eastern Structures / Volume One
The Complete Eastern Structures / Volume One provides the newcomer an excellent opportunity to own the first five issues of R. W. Watkins's groundbreaking magazine in one handy 8.5" 11" collection. Born out of the ashes of Watkins's Contemporary Ghazals, Eastern Structures is the only English-language print magazine dedicated exclusively to several major Asian verse forms. Always true to form, ES publishes the most accurate representations of the ghazal, sijo, haiku and tanka in English today. Also featuring essays and editorials, this collection offers an excellent cross section of the best work from the past two years by some of the premier poets working in such forms. Among others, Steffen Horstmann, Denver Butson, William Dennis, L. J. McDowall, Priscilla Lignori, Mark Redfearn, Clark Strand and Watkins himself are all well represented. Issues One to Five of Eastern Structures are still available individually from Amazon.

Cardiac Defibrillation
Sudden cardiac death and ventricular arrhythmia play a prominent role in mortality in our era. One of the biggest milestones in the therapy of ventricular arrhythmias was the invention of cardiac defibrillation. There were several important developments in the last decades, making nowadays automated external and internal defibrillators widely available. However, the rapid evolution and high differentiation of available options presents a challenge to be kept "up-to-date". With this book, we would like to review the actual guidelines and give practical advices concerning of indications in cardiomyopathy patients, possible contraindications and complications, the perioperative management including anticoagulation and antibiotics, and the programming and follow-up of defibrillator devices.

Bloomfield
Bloomfield
Founded in pre-Revolutionary days, Bloomfield encompassed over twenty miles of Essex County in the early 1800s. The neighboring towns of Nutley, Belleville, North Newark, Montclair, and Glen Ridge were once a part of the Bloomfield landscape. After divisions of the land developed new communities, Bloomfield was left with little more than five miles. When the Morris Canal was dug through the middle of Bloomfield in 1824, industrial and residential growth strengthened and the town became the hub of Essex County commerce and manufacturing. Bloomfield continued its reputation as a progressive community for the next 150 years. The photographs in Bloomfield capture the essence of a community with small-town values and working-class ethics. From the earliest tintypes to the planting of a time capsule, the lives and times of people and events that shaped the town are captured here for the first time, with many never-before-published photographs. Images such as those of inventor Thomas Edison, President Woodrow Wilson, and landscape painter Charles Warren Eaton make Bloomfield a delight for all past and present residents of this American hometown.
