Poetry. Translated from the Italian by Michael Daley. ALTER MUNDUS (Other World) is a collection of poems, some love poems and some political poems, by Italian poet Lucia Gazzino. The poems are translated by American poet Michael Daley, and the collection includes a preface by Ivano Malcotti and an introduction by Jack Hirschman.

Consists of Lucia Bisceglia Lariccia's correspondence from 1917 through her death in 1972, as well as two pieces dated 1993 and 1999, respectively. Many undated letters are also included, as are her birth certificate (issued in 1955) and a religious "Talismanic" letter, depicting the crucifixion of Christ. Two compact discs, containing Lucia's letters, her biography, and some English translations, complete the collection. Some English translations are attached to each related document.
