Kristine Benson Kristofferson, a well known local Icelandic-Canadian writer near Gimli, Manitoba, published her book Tanya in 1951; her collection (donated by the author in 1987) includes the manuscripts related to this novel, and of four unpublished works: Shadow of Ruth, Letitia, The Rugged Oak, and The Silver Link.
