My thesis is a collection of closely connected scenes from childhood and adolescence. The scenes embody an introverted dream-like world and examine how childhood perceptions and language cross over into adulthood, and how adult perceptions form in children. I am especially interested in how notions of the body and sexuality are configured in this exchange. Formally, I have tried to create fiction like visual art; that lets a reader circle back and forth rather than always propelling them forward.
