Arte y arquitectura en el valle del Nansa
This volume is a first step to understanding the cultural heritage of the Nansa River Valley of the autonomous community of Cantabria. A valley whose own topography was because of a certain historical isolation, suffered a slow process of depopulation, but retained a wealth of materials, scenic and cultural resources, with the added value of having had an equally rich intangible heritage. It has been preserved against the most widespread anthropogenic processes in rural areas, especially those caused by land speculation and excessive urbanization that have disfigured and even changed the face of many other territories.
