And twenty years later, I never thought I would still be in the same position I was when I crossed the border undocumented. In this book, I reflect back on my most intimate, personal, and embarrassing moments as I adapted to a new country, a new culture, and a new way of life. Will my status ever change? That remains to be seen, as for now, I focus on the present in hopes for a more secure, peaceful future in this country.

The twelve-chapter book begins with Newton’s laws of motion and subsequently covers topics such as thermodynamics and statistical physics, electrodynamics, special and general relativity, quantum mechanics and cosmology , the standard model and quantum chromodynamics.
