The D. Harold Turner Papers
As a member of the Faculty of Education at the University of Manitoba, Dr. Turner taught speech, drama, and children's literature. He was best known for the contribution to children's books with novels like To Hang a Rebel (1977), Quips and Cranks of George Ashton (1978), and Atomic Chargers: Target Terror (1983). The collection contains the literary manuscripts of the above and unpublished novels like Red Alfgar's Sons, and Let's throw Dust in Their Eyes.
