Polkespad Press Politeknik Kesehatan Kemenkes Padang Covid 19 was declared as a global pandemic, it has had many impacts on health education and practice. So a strategy is needed to continue the academics activities. Virtual learning using technology is one way to keep the learning process running smoothly. Based on the situation, this year’s schedule of the Health Ministry Polytechnic of Padang 2022 wil focus on the substantial theme “The Role of Health Education in Preparedness Reserved Health Task Force for Disaster”, held in Padang, Indonesia, blended conference on 2nd – 3 rd November 2022. The conference particularly welcomes contributions from health educationalists, education managers, practitioners, researchers, and students. The number of participants conference is 35 participants for oral/ poster presentation.

The purpose of this book is to examine the performance of Guyana's economy during the era of dirigisme and the period of economic liberalisation with emphasis on a market economy, using all available micro-and macro-data. In a much broader and meaningful sense, this book deals with the socio-economic progress of Guyana from the 1960s, with heavy emphasis on the market reforms, because this is the dominant and interesting story for policy lessons in the Third World. This book also focuses on what has happened to poverty, inequality, and other social indicators during the reform period. Until now, there has not been any systematic examination of the effects of the economic reforms in Guyana on unemployment, wages and industrial activity; poverty and inequality; farmers' response to price liberalisation; education and health indicators; ethnicity and growth; and governance, crime and corruption. These issues and more are the subject matter of this book. The book refers to those aspects of Guyana's history and recent political events that bear directly on economic policy and the performance of the economic system.

Adat di Minangkabau mengatur dan menyusun tata kehidupan sejak lama, seperti kata pepatah “Adat Basandi syarak, syarak Basandi Kitabulloh”, syarak mangato adat mamakai, suku Minangkabau mempunyai keunikan dalam adat dan budaya yaitu matrilineal atau budaya dengan sistem garis keturunan dari ibu. Dengan sistem ini cukup memberikan fungsi yang proporsional bagi laki-laki dan perempuan dalam menjaga garis keturunan. Di Minangkabau, peran seorang ninik mamak begitu penting untuk menjaga dan mendidik kemenakan terutama remaja dalam bidang adat, agama, dan perilaku sehari-hari, namun saat ini peran ninik mamak tersebut dirasakan sangat kurang. Hal ini dapat dilihat di kaumnya khususnya, dan pada masyarakat pada umumnya masih ada yang mengalami penyakit menular seperti HIV AIDS yang berkaitan dengan perilaku kesehatan sehari-hari yang berdasarkan adat dan budaya. Pada prinsipnya penyakit HIV AIDS dapat dicegah melalui peningkatan peran ninik mamak dalam mengayomi kemenakannya dalam berperilaku sesuai dengan adat dan budaya Minangkabau. Buku ini membahas bagaimana peran seorang ninik mamak dalam mendidik dan mengayomi kemenakannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari untuk pencegahan dan pengurangan risiko penyakit HIV AIDS.
