In India, a marketer needs to address the diverse sentiments and customer requirements and that is a huge challenge. Deciphering Indian markets is something which requires lots of patience, observance and application. With this idea in mind, the author has segregated the entire gamete of marketing into four major components viz. Advertising, Services Marketing, Retail Marketing and Sales Management and then have gone on to first describe certain theoretical elements in a nutshell related to an area of marketing and proceeded further with case studies in that section. Most case studies in this book although hypothetical are absolutely realistic in terms of plots and perspectives and gives one practical inputs as how to approach the activity of marketing in the Indian Diaspora.
