David V. Bush Collection ( 3 Books) How to Put the Subconscious Mind to Work, the Silence What It Is and How to Use It, Will Power and Success
BOOK ONEHOW TO PUT THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND TO WORK,PREFACE The very great advance made in the science of mental healing during the last half of the nineteenth and the beginning of the twentieth century must be self-evident to the most superficial observer. However, both in conducting classes and in giving private counsel all authorities come sooner or later face to face with what I believe impresses every unprejudiced person in the line of mental healing, namely, the wide variety of cults and the large number of teachers and organizations, each one thinking he or it has discovered the one and only true method of mind healing. To my mind this condition is one of the biggest obstacles the whole movement of the power of the mind to heal has yet to overcome. BOOK TWOTHE SILENCEWHAT IT IS AND HOW TO USE IT The author is considered a forward thinker and was way ahead of its time. However, please remember that this book is a product of its time and do not reflect the same views on race, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, and interpersonal relations as it would if it was written today. Most references to "Man" must be read understanding "Man" as human being, both male and female, as the author intended from the beginning (as a writer of the New Thought Movement, he believed in and fought for the equality of women). Although the wisdom in this book is ageless, parents might wish to discuss with their children how some things have changed since this book was written. BOOK THREEWILL POWER AND SUCCESS"THE GREATEST THING IN"You are born to victory."-Emerson."The question is not, what can you do! But what can you and God do together?"-Lyman Abbott."Form a plan, have an object; then work for it; learn all you can about it, and you will be sure to succeed?'-Waters."A singular mischance has happened to some of our friends," said Hamilton. "At the instant when He ushered them into the world, God gave them a work to do.""Working without a program is like sailing a ship without a compass or rudder.""Every one can make his mark in the world-even though it be in the snow."-Joseph J. Lamb.

Vietnam 1968
Vietnam 1968
Vietnam 1968: Turning Point is about the turning point of the war in Vietnam. The book is a memoir and weaves together three stories. The first story is about the personal experiences of Captain David V. Mastran, an eye witness to the war as a member of the general staff at Headquarters 7th Air Force in Saigon. The second provides the background to the war and describes the major military campaigns fought in 1968. And the third describes the highly classified project he worked on to evaluate McNamara's Wall, the most expensive new technology introduced in the war. The common theme that unifies these stories is the truth of what happened during that fateful year. The book includes the lessons learned and not learned in Vietnam and concludes that the war may have been a disaster for the U.S., but it created strong bonds among the men and women who served, fought, and died there.
