February 10, 2014…an experiment began. With the creation of Four Fools Press, a few strange fellows decided to start producing crazy good stories and selling them on the Internet. Along the way we’ve grown, and so has our collective word counts. This is a journey down Pop Culture from the Winter of 2008 to the Summer of 2009. The Party Favors column was originally started by Joseph Corey in NC State University's Technician student newspaper in the mid-80s. The column ran until the early 1990s. In the later '90s, Ken Plume invited Joe to write his column for his Tibbysbowl.com website. In 2006, Plume was hired by director Kevin Smith (Clerks and Mallrats) to run his Quickstopentertianment website. He brought Joe along to be a regular contributor during this era which ended when Kevin Smith's Zack and Miri Make a Porno proved to be a major flop. Smith decided to get rid of the website. Plume invited Joe to write for his new ASiteCalledFred. This collection takes those columns off the web and onto the printed page, so they won't vanish if the hard drive gets wiped.
