Valentin Hofstetter was born 1 January 1774 in Weislingen, Alsace. His parents were Valentin Hofstetter and Anna Elisabethe Windstein. He married Marie Elisabeth Peter 25 December 1794. They had six children. Many of their descendants and relatives emigrated and settled mainly in Arkansas and Illinois.

Johann Heinrich Muskopf (1796-1882) was born in the Canton of Landstuhl, in the area of Europe known as the Rheinland-Palatinate, the son of Johann Nikolas and Margretha Hehlmuther Muskopf. He married Charlotte Margaretha Ulrich (1804-1881), daughter of Johann Daniel and Maria Cathrina Niolai Ulrich, in 1825. They had ten children, 1823-1847. The family immigrated to the United States in 1837 and settled on a farm in the Millstadt, Illinois area. Henry and Charlotte are buried in the Frievogel Cemetery near Millstadt. Descendants lived in Illinois, Missouri and elsewhere.

Stephen Cannady, parents not listed, was born 27 Jan 1820 in Tennessee. He married Tabitha Harryman, daughter of Charles Harryman and Winny, 3 Mar 1841 in Washington County, Illinois. They had 6 children. Tabitha died 11 Jan 1869 in Lawrence County, Missouri. Stephen married again on 28 Feb 1869 to Saphronia Rouk Smith. They also had 6 children. Stephen died on 17 Nov 1886 in Lawrence County, Missouri. Saphronia died 19 Apr 1918 in Logan, Lawrence, Missouri. Stephen's descendants have lived in Illinois, Missouri, Texas, California, Ohio, and other areas in the United States.

Johann Andreas Ellinger was born in about 1754, probably in Saxony, Germany. His son, Johann Andreas Ellinger, was born 29 September 1783 in Bilzingsleben Saxony. He married Dorothea Sophia Hildenhagen (1783-1836) in 1806. He emigrated with his children in 1839 and settled in Illinois.

George Washington Morton was born in about 1811 in North Carolina. He marrried Elizabeth Beaman in about 1838. They had six children. He died in 1875 in Etoile, Texas.
