The Bible book of Proverbs is a collection of wisdom teachings meant to impart moral insights and practical guidance. The original short stories in Leaves of Wisdom were written by members of Collierville Christian Writers, based in Collierville, Tennessee. Inspired by the premise of incorporating wisdom from the Proverbs, this diverse collection reflects the imagination and opinion of each writer. At the height of his career as the leader of the Hudson River School of American landscape painting, Thomas Cole listed himself in the New York City Directory as an architect.
