This series of delightful stories, with absolutely stunning water colors by Deborah Ross, were created by a family team of Alice and her Dad, with much help and support from the rest of their family. We hope you enjoy them as much as we did, dreaming them up.

Mainly correspondence from friends and associates in the theater world, typescripts of Gerstenberg's plays, autobiographical notes, playbills, clippings, a few photographs, and two large scrapbooks commemorating her theatrical career. Correspondents include Maurice Browne, H.C. Chatfield-Taylor, William Donahey, Theodore Drieser, Edna Ferber, Dorothy Canfield Fisher, Henry B. Fuller, Zona Gale, George Cochrane Hazelton, Edgar Lee Masters, Harriet Monroe, Wallace Rice, and Henry Kitchell Webster. There are photographs of a performance of "Overtones" and of Alice Gerstenberg and her parents, Bryn Mawr mementos, and several spiritualist publications.

A woman's journey over the years reflected through her poetry, which at times acted as a survival tool and a humerous antidote.
