España y los judíos en el siglo XX
Analyzes Spanish policy in regard to the Jewish Sephardic communities abroad, based on documents. Studies instructions given by the Foreign Office dealing with the granting of Spanish nationality to Sephardim during the dictatorship of Primo de Rivera (1924) and the Second Republic. Emphasizes the inaccuracy of reports about the alleged number of transit visas issued by Spain to Jewish refugees during the Second World War, which was much lower than is attributed to them by some historians. Indicates evidence of antisemitism in Franco's speeches, in measures by public officials dealing with the refugees, and in a letter from Franco to Pope Pius XII.
