Vol. 1 of Finlayson's autobiography discusses his childhood in Logan, Utah, attending the Utah Agricultural College, his work as an engineer for General Electric Company in New York, Massachusetts and California, marriage to Harriett Rallison, his children, World War II, and family life. Vol. 2 discusses his continuing work with the Ontario Plant (Calif.) for the General Electric Company, work for the Mormon Church, retirement, life in Ontario, summary of important family events, and an appendix with some of the sermons of Frank E. Finlayson.
