Gloria Elbling Gottlieb Papers
The Gloria Elbling Gottlieb Papers are housed in three archival boxes and arranged in seven series. The series have been designated as Beth Shalom Congregation, Bnai Brith, NAAMAT, Pittsburgh Conference for Jewish Womens Organizations, PCJWO, School for Advanced Jewish Studies, SAJS, Topical, and United Jewish Federation, UJF. These papers include meeting minutes, internal and external correspondence, publications, newspaper clippings, membership directories, conference materials, by laws, annual reports, budget reports, religious education, research studies, and published materials. The materials primarily consist of records collected during GEG involvement in the afore mentioned Jewish organizations. A small amount of the collection consists of Irving Elblings involvement in Pittsburgh Jewish community, specifically with Bnai Brith District Grand Lodge Number Three. The records are not complete for each organization, but provide a small window into the organizations and their inner workings during Irving Elbling and GEGs involvement
