Diary kept by Fred Rice of New Haven, Connecticut. Short daily entries mention the weather and either what Rice has done, or what other members of the family have been involved with. Rice was still attending school when he began the diary.

Fred Orin Harris papers relate to his career in the Dramatic Art department at UC Berkeley and contain professional correspondence, documents relating to the organization of the Dramatic Art Dept. and its mission, campus administrative documents, design drawings for UCB theaters, letters praising productions he was involved with (many from prominent UC faculty and chancellors), articles by Harris, and his unpublished draft on directing theatrical productions "Letters to a young director." Departmental correspondence features B.H. Lehman and Monroe E. Deutsch. Some items relate to the Associated Students of the Univ. of California (ASUC) and it's relationship to the Dramatic Art Dept.
