I have decided to let my wicked sense of humour loose for a while, so here goes. This is a collection of stories taken from life. Some are true, while others are just plain made up. Ranging from real life experiences and situations to downright imagination. The football story alas is all so very true, being the trauma of my life. The woman who wore the Doc Martens really does exist. I call her Lush, she calls me, hard to get. Will she ever throw me a lifeline, I hope not? Granny really did struggle to spit out the Post Office stories, but a few drinks soon loosened her tongue, she couldn't bring herself to mention the word vibrator so ended up writing it down on a piece of paper and passed it under the table. Then followed it up by asking why it needed batteries? The keyboard warrior is also a real person, the author of this book. I hope you enjoy them!

This collection of stories is the second book by Kathleen A. Staley from Paradise, California. The first book, Eye of the Pyramid, A Story of Time-Travel and Reincarnation, involved legends and mythology from around the world. Each chapter of the first book inspired the readers to learn more about the various time periods. Some of the stories in the anthology are based on characters from Eye of the Pyramid and others are based on modern cultures. Stories are from Mayan, Celtic, American and Egyptian myths and legends. They all involve supernatural events and ghostly visitations. During the research, it was apparent that all cultures have similar beliefs, involving spirits, angels and winged creatures. Kathleen is working on more short stories, based on interviews with friends and acquaintances. Many people have had experiences with visitations and strange occurrences and are eager to tell someone. Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction.

This book is written by third graders. When evil threatens their village, can a team of animal friends find a way to stop it? Wip: a flying squirrel, Jip: an otter, Nip: a ferret and Bip: a mouse who are all friends are trying to save their village from an evil ferret leader called Zorfang. Their quest is to search for the keys to open the door to Zorfang's tower. They will have to go through dangerous places, cross rivers, mountains, fields, and fight evil raiders to find the five keys which are in different places in a South Asian country called Taiwan.
