Mary Frances Walcott
This collection contains one volume of Walcott's diary, which begins on January 1, 1858, when Walcott was only 12 years old. The diary contains entries related to Walcott's life in Worcester County, including visits with friends and family, headaches and toothaches, the weather, and the "Dr." having his ambrotype taken (Jan. 20). The bulk of the entries are from 1858, but there are scattered entries, poetry, and accounts from 1859 to 1861.
