Kathryn Cooke Diaries
Kathryn Cooke, who lived in Meriden, recorded such activities as sledding in the winter, attending Mass, going to the movies, taking trips to New York City, doing homework, attending sports events, and going to school. She also recorded the books she read and made frequent mentions of her family--her mother, Betty (Elizabeth), John, Dot (Dorothy) and Bobby (Roberts). Also includes a black and white snapshot of Kathryn standing by a car. Cooke lived in Meriden, Connecticut, her entire life, and was at one time active in the Meriden Historical Society.
