This journalism master's project includes a professional work component and an analysis component. The professional work component details the author's experiences "freelancing a magazine article. The story will be examining key events in the history of mental health care. The main character will be the controversial psychiatrist Dr. Thomas Szasz." (p. 4) Field notes and magazine article are included. In the analysis component the author researches math attitudes and aptitudes among business journalists. This section includes a literature review.
