Richard Walker Papers
The Papers of Richard Walker document his nearly forty-year career as a Professor of Geography at U.C. Berkeley. Included are records of his work with Faculty for Human Rights in El Salvador and Central America (FACHRES) in the early 1980s, Save the University (2009-2012) and other activists groups. The bulk of the collection consists of his correspondence files, which include both personal and professional communications. Also included are materials relating to his fight for tenure (1980-1982), his work with Antipode: A Radical Journal of Geography and a small representation of general administrative files.
