A reconstruction of the vicissitudes of collecting based on the analysis of the various policies adopted in running the Room of Drawings and Prints: from Baldinucci's 17th-century classifications to the Medicean market and collecting, to the planning and painstaking arrangements of the 18th century, up to Tommaso Puccini's management when the Gallery changed its attitude towards former practices in an endeavouor to bring it closer to the contemporary artistic world.
