One Accord in One Place
Acts 2:1 states, "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place." Arriving at Vilas, North Carolina, my family and I would spend a week in the Western Appalachians, in a cabin by Boone, NC. A personal book dedicated to this first annual trip for my nine relatives and I, the address of Valle Crucis and the mountain environment yielded a plethora of picturesque memories. From the first day until the last, when we departed from this place, our experiences in the Blue Ridge, our reliance on God, the blessings we encountered by Him daily, and the personal growth we shared as we interacted with one another, are gifts of grace never to be replaced. This publication features the journeys we each took, respectively, and the joint ventures that demonstrated the intimate time it was to spend underneath the mantle of God's Spirit, in His presence, at the foot of Jesus' Cross. Author and Writer Matthew Pope introduces his latest publication, becoming a joint work with his previous titles, including In Doctrine, Uncorrupt (2014), Assembled With One Accord (2015), his 2019 ensembles, Of Yesterday, In The Apostles' Doctrine, War with The Remnant: Translated Literature, and Bear Record, and finally with his 2020 production, War with the Remnant: Every Direction. His writing ministry continues by the assistance of The Holy Spirit, as He endeavors to write out in every work The Great Commission of God (Matthew 28:19-20).
