The redemption plan preceded creation. It is stated in Isaiah 46:10 that God declares the end from the beginning. God has declared our victory in Christ Jesus at the end of the Bible as recorded in Revelation 22:3-5. We know that this victory has been wrought by Christ crucified. In other words, God has already declared our victory in Christ Jesus right from the very outset. The record of the beginning of all things is not to be read in a linear or chronological fashion. We have to bear in mind that God has declared the end from the beginning. In other words, there are nuggets of redemption truth that can be unearthed when we read the account of beginnings as prophetic in nature. Our loving Father God would not have proceeded with creation if He did not first put in place the redemption plan. It speaks of God's omniscience. Nothing catches Him by surprise. Redemption was a forethought and not an afterthought. The redemption plan that will give us the victory in the end has been declared right from the beginning. This book was written to substantiate the notion with scriptural backing. In the process, we will get to see Jesus, our Redeemer, hidden in the very beginning of the Holy Bible.

This book is about the very presence of our Lord Jesus Christ in the here and now. By Him crucified, what used to be seasonal blessings is NOW an on-going experience. We stand on favor ground in a state of grace; drenched in the avalanche of God’s blessings. Our path or life drips with abundance! By the disobedience of Adam, a “State of Emergency” was declared. But by the obedience of our Lord Jesus Christ, “The State of Grace” has taken over. Adam brought death but Christ brought salvation – Romans 5:14. Lessons are drawn from Martha and the elder brother in the Parable of the Prodigal Son to accentuate how we can miss the Lord’s presence by not being present in the Now presence of the Lord Jesus. We see how God sees us in Christ. We are what God said we are in Christ. We have what God said we have in Christ. The Lord Jesus is with us RIGHT NOW. We have His PRESENCE at this very MOMENT. Since I have such a Tower of strength with me, fear has no place in my domain – Psalm 118:6; Romans 8:31; 1 John 4:18. May you be blessed by the new perspective that is presented in this book!

This eBook is a result of ingesting the sermon of 27 February 2022 by Pastor Joseph Prince of New Creation Church (NCC). The contents herein are my personal takeaway and not endorsed by Pastor Prince nor NCC. The phrase “cross over” jumped out at me as I was listening to the sermon. As I meditate on it, it brought to remembrance God’s message to NCC to study the life of David. In the process of mulling over this eBook, David’s mighty men, also known as “The Thirty”, came to my mind. They were the ones who abided with David through thick and thin. The risen Jesus is calling us to go all the way with Him despite seemingly contradictory circumstances. Just cross over to Him and He will provide for us there; in the place of Goshen, which in Hebrew means “drawing near”. If we keep trying to figure and sort out life based on our own limited ability and understanding, we will never get it right. But when we cast it to our loving Father God, we will find it (Matthew 10:39; 1 Peter 5:7). God the loving Father has delivered us from the power of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins (Colossians 1:13-14, NKJV). Yet, this good news or Gospel is veiled as stated in 2 Corinthians 4:4 (NKJV). Consequently, there are some who would rather hold on to the problems which they can see, hear, feel, touch, and taste than to accept a solution that their five senses are not able to comprehend. Until and unless they can understand exactly the “Who, What, When, Where, How and Why” behind the solution, they simply cannot accept it. The unknown is too inconceivable. In their perception, they are but a “grasshopper” to the giants of the unknown (Numbers 13:33). Jesus is calling us to cross over; from the known into the unknown, from the seen into the unseen, from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God. The loving Father God is offering His Kingdom that cannot be shaken. In these times of turbulent shaking, it is my fervent hope that you will catch a glimpse of God’s love for you in this free resource.

All of us accept, as a fact, that we will grow old, become weak and in all likelihood end up sickly before we eventually die. Abuthen (stating the obvious)! The highly coveted retirement is really a cry from the deepest recess of the heart to do the things that we really like instead of being stuck in doing something just for the sake of money. The life of Abram, whom God later renamed Abraham, was depicted in 14 chapters of the Bible (Genesis 12-25). In those chapters, we get to see: 1. Jesus as the perfect Image of God’s love. 2. Jesus as faith personified; 3. Salvation through Christ crucified; 4. The Covenants of Law and Love; 5. God’s wisdom in saving fallen humanity. Fear seemed to be the mainstay of Abram’s life. However, God transferred Abram from the snares of fear into the Kingdom of His love (Colossians 1:13-14). He transformed Abram to Abraham. God did that by instilling faith in Abram with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It was categorically stated in Galatians 3:8 that God preached the Gospel to Abraham (Romans 10:17). Throughout the life of Abraham, God kept directing his attention to His love for him that is seen in Christ crucified (2 Corinthians 3:18, Galatians 3:8; John 8:56). Jesus Christ and Him crucified is the display and proof of God’s unlimited love for us (Romans 5:7-8, 8:39, Amplified Bible). God loves us (John 16:27, Amplified Bible). This is truth. It is this very truth that sets us free (John 8:31-32, 36). Abraham is called the father of all who believe in the Gospel of Jesus (Romans 4:16). As stated in Galatians 3:9, we are blessed along with Abraham in that same faith. Faith is in essence divine persuasion. God persuades us to believe in His love for us with the death, burial, and resurrection of His beloved Son in Human form as Jesus of Nazareth. This book traces the growth and transformation of Abram to Abraham. So sit back, relax, and behold how God unveiled His love for Abram that is in Jesus Christ and Him crucified. As the pages unfold, I pray that God also transforms us in the same way he did Abram.
