An Appointed Time - Large Print
Visiting Williamsburg in late December 1990, Sarah has not only wandered out of the Wolstenholme Towne complex at Carter's Grove, but she's somehow stepped into late 1620, and now she's lost her memory. Confused and lost, she finds her way to a lone campfire deep in the woods at dusk. Seeing no one about, she crawls into the primitive tent and falls fast asleep. Next morning, she meets Taminac, a member of the Powhatan nation, whose camp it is. As it happens, he too is a Christian and is every bit as interested in her as she is in him. They fall in love, but is she free? Bit by bit, her memory starts to surface, but will she remember enough and in time? Taminac is worried about who will take charge of the Powhatan nation. Will she remember what the history books told her about the horror that Opechancanough is planning? This book is a fast paced adventure/romance whose story is set in the history of Virginia.
