Ian MacCallister, a successful sculptor, lives and works on his property in central Florida. His spontaneous decision to eat at a small BBQ joint results in Ian meeting and befriending a talented young artist who is gifted beyond his years. Through his friendship with Dwight and his mother, Ian is led into a relationship with Dwight's kindergarten teacher. When a wealthy and unscrupulous Brazilian decides that he wants Ian's land, Ian along with his best friend Mike McClain are forced to take extreme measures to defend their lives and lives of their friends from increasingly violent attacks by the ruthless foreigner whose depravity drives him to have Ian's land at any cost.
