The Corinthian Letters:
The Corinthian Letters examines the correspondence of Paul to the Corinthian church in its historical context. The letters reveal much about the relationship the apostle had with the church he founded while providing many lessons for ministry today. This course gives special emphasis to themes of unity in the body of Christ, dealing with sin, matters of conscience, spiritual gifts, the resurrection, forgiveness, restoration, spiritual authority, and confronting false teachers. Students will develop a deeper appreciation of 1 and 2 Corinthians and also identify relevant themes for preaching in their own churches.
