This glossary, which contains approximately 6,000 entries including over 1000 new ones, is a revised edition. The Termium terminology bank and some existing terminological works in the fields of labour relations, education, economics, administration and finance were consulted in order to review the entire base list. This employment glossary contains the main official titles and the vocabulary in use at Human Resources Development Canada. Also included are equivalents taken from manuals and other departmental publications, as well as from departmental translation files.
