The Nephilim Fable
Many "prophecy experts" and "preachers" have concocted new science fiction fables to keep the masses enthralled and entertained. One such fable is the Nephilim heresy. Keeping their audiences enchanted, "prophecy experts" write countless books detailing how fallen angels came to earth, married and had sex with human females in Genesis 6, creating a hybrid race of demon/humans called "Nephilim". They argue that this was the true reason for the Flood. They also teach that in these end times, the Nephilim are returning. They teach that aliens, fairies, ghouls and even Bigfoot exist and are the Nephilim returned. Is there truth to their claims? Or is this a sensationalist misinterpretation of scripture designed to scratch the carnal ears of those in their churches who are bored by the Bible? Or is it a fable - one of the very fables warned of by Paul in 2 Timothy! It is an old wives tale! "But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness" (1 Timothy 4:7). This book will analyze the text of the Scriptures themselves and show that the Nephilim as human/demon hybrids never existed and that the whole concept is a glaring misreading of Scripture. It will analyze the history of the doctrine and show that it is based in Hellenistic Judaism which absorbed it from Greek mythology. Judaism and Christianity have accepted paganism and are now teaching it as God's Scriptural truth.
