George Walker (of Northumberland Co., Penn. and Tioga Co., N.Y.) and His Descendants
George Walker (Wolger, Volger) immigrated from Germany via Rotterdam to Philadelphia in 1749. He settled in Waverly, New York and later moved to Bradford Co., Pennsylvania. He fought in the Revolutionary War, and in 1793 moved to Elmira, New York. He died in 1812. Descendants lived in New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and elsewhere.
