Mid 21st century America belongs to the Christian white nationalists. Homosexuality is no longer just a sin; it’s a crime. In many places, a crime punishable by death.

That’s why Dustin and I have to get to Canada. For us, there is no other option. We’re like the refugees of earlier times. Those who were trying to get into the United States to escape death in their home countries. Only now, we’re the ones who have no choice—get out of America or die.
