This book is based on a key verse, 2 Timothy 1:7, which states: "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind" (KJV). The author discusses different examples of fear as given in Scripture. She also gives Scriptural references dealing with fear, as well as some steps to take to help overcome fear. Different sources of power are discussed such as power of the Holy Spirit and power in the blood of Christ. It also deals with what to do when that power is missing. Hope is expounded on as well as different types of love. A sound mind and what to do when that seems to be absent is also discussed. There are study questions for you to ponder at the end of each chapter. If you are dealing with fear or phobias or want to learn more about the power available to us, as well as to learn more about love and its' sources and to firm up a sound mind, this book is for you. This book may be used for individual or group study. Sharon Bray, the author, was born in Canada but has spent most of her life in the United States. Her home is in Lancaster, New York.
