The present whitepaper aims to investigate the challenges that the current coronavirus pandemic poses to regional health governance in Latin America. It presents an analysis of the health policies framework at the South American regional institutions, defines its features in terms of diplomacy and cooperation, and describes the tasks faced by the governance of the coronavirus in the region and how it affects national and global health policies.
