What are the boundaries of friendship and loyalty? How does one choose between betraying a comrade and personal detriment? When is silence golden, and when does it turn into a hellish nightmare? This is a true tale of a young man, a college graduate, an aspiring illustrator, caught completely off-guard by the worst crime imaginable: murder. The victim, an innocent girl, illadvisedly hitchhiking on a cold, dark night. The culprit, an AWOL marine with a misplaced vendetta brought on by the mental burden of a torn relationship.
