The Haustorium

Using simple yet explicit terminology to resolve the considerable confusion that has resulted from different terms being applied to the same structure, it catalogs the significant amount of work done worldwide on the various morphological types of haustoria found in angiosperms, fungi and vesicular arbuscular mycorrhizas.
