Film as Text

An introduction to the relationship between films and books as reading and visual texts. Specific films are linked to the issues raised in each section, including the characteristics of the classical narrative text, the melodramatic text, the transformation of one text to another and the representation of social values. Designed for years 11 and 12, especially VCE English students.
