Flowers for Jesus

Sarah has longed to meet Jesus. She learns he will be visiting her village on the way to Jerusalem. She wants to give him a special gift, but what can she give him? She decides to give him a beautiful bouquet of flowers of all sizes, shapes and colors. But a large crowd and oppressive heat prevent her from getting to Jesus and causes the bouquet to wither. All hope seems lost until a stranger stops to comfort a crying Sarah. Finally Sarah sees the face of Jesus and gives him a broken yellow flower, all that remains of the bouquet. Days later the flower falls to the ground beneath a cross. Three days later word arrives that Jesus is risen from the dead. Beneath the cross a beautiful bouquet of flowers springs up. Jesus appears to his followers and Sarah is there, sitting on his lap.
