The Theology of Grace and the American Mind

A re-presentation of the Catholic doctrine of grace for the contemporary American mind, this study examines the meaning of grace as fashioned by Karl Rahner in his transcendental anthropology, then integrates this with American criteria of judgment (Carl Rogers and C.S. Peirce) to develop a uniquely American theology of grace.
